Wow I echo @pippincp comments about noise margin.  Have you tried using the test socket with a filter to see if that makes any difference

even your max attainable is only 26mb

Stats from test socket not any better so I have asked mods to help - they are BT employees - and make sure engineer turns up on Thursday. Mods will post here with link to a form you need to complete

Have contacted the mods and have had no response yet , your fault tracker says the Broadband fault was fixed this morning at 6am ! and has been closed , today the broadband speed is WORSE barely pulling 2mbps . How do I escalate the lack of service higher as I’m now the stage where I’m questioning why I’m paying £43 a month and looking to exit my contract without clause to seek a telecoms company that can follow through and resolve faults as they occur .

Hi @bindi68 Thanks for taking my call earlier and just to update the community an engineer has been booked for Thursday between 8am and 1pm to fix your fault. Please update the thread and let us know how the engineer visit went and I will be back i touch with you.

I just don’t understand how your online fault tracker service etc says the line tests are clear and there is nothing wrong with the line and yet you tell me that there is a bad connection in the area ?!
If your online diagnostics cannot detect anything then why have it ?
