Hi. The video clearly shows that the contract is "up to 76Mbps" as others have indicated.

The video speeds as shown may indicate that your connection could be stuck at "normal infinity". Can you post the hub stats which should give details of the connection.

How is your computer connected to the hub, is it wireless or ethernet ? Many wireless connections (and indeed older wireless adaptors) will not be able to deliver the higher speeds. This is something else that needs checking (e.g. wireless "n") - since I believe that wireless "g" only supports up to 54Mbps, and even then it's theoretical maximum values. There are many other variables that can seriously interfere with the speeds - e.g. distance, interference from external sources etc.

Then they have either set your profile to that of Infinity 1 by mistake or there maybe a line fault.

Have you called BT about it because they aren't mind readers, they used to be but due to competition laws being introduced to make it a fair playing field for other CP's they had it taken away from them.

Are you using a wired connection for your speedtest or a wireless one?

My favourite christmas song 🙂 🙂 Are you sure you're wired while doing this test? The upload is to high so you're not accidently on infinity 1.

Re: contract is 76 mbps i get 38 mbps

It is only UP TO in the sense it is UP TO and no more than 76Mb, the service you are sold is not UP TO anything it is plainly stated as SHOULD be X up, Y down and GENERALLY within +/- 1 or 2Mb of X up,Y down.

Not as people would have you believe UP TO the figures sold!!!

Your entitled to your opinion.

So now you should be able to go to a county court and get your 76Mb +/-1 or 2Mb.Smiley Wink

Re: contract is 76 mbps i get 38 mbps

had mutiple routers(homehubs) and modems(whitebox)
someone said the problem could be between my home and the cabnet wiring

that a specilist team would be required

distant between my home and cabinet is couple of hundred ft

and the distant between my home and exchange is 0.8 miles
