full fibre FTTP switchover date

BT have been installing more fibre in my area (London NW6) and I heard somewhere that we will be moved over to FTTP in due course, with no change to my contract or charges.

This is called  Switch Over Day.  It is the move from FTTC to FTTP, and is not Digital Voice which I already have via FTTC.

Is there any way to get a rough idea of when this might happen?

Re: full fibre FTTP switchover date

If you look closely at details contained within the document , its clear it’s a pretty old one  and is from  many years ago when customers were moved free of charge from ADSL to FTTC   , hence the comments around connecting a new router ( if one were necessary )  in advance of the remote changeover (basically connecting the copper pair to the ‘fibre’ cabinet ) , no customer visit was needed etc ,

There is currently no compulsory change to FTTP and obviously anyone moving to FTTP needs an installation visit , if FTTP comes to an area , you have to arrange to get it , either by proactively contacting your provider, of responding to an offer to take it .

Unfortunately the website is littered with documents that are historic ,  still visible years after they were current .

Re: full fibre FTTP switchover date

Thanks @iniltous, yes I can see that document in the link might be for ADSL to FTTC.  Am I wrong then about all existing FTTC installations being eventually moved to FTTP?  I think a BT/EE person said so in a phone call but I wasn't on the call so can't be certain.

Eventually, yes, but 'eventually' doesn't have a date.
