can you connect to test socket with a filter and see if that helps your stability

Good idea.

Tried that and network down again today.

All ideas much appreciated!

BT engineer applied Interleave, Lost 20% speed but no stability improvement.

Toured the overhead line. Seems ok apart from one very tall hedge!

MODERATOR help would be appreciated as have had enough hanging on the end of a line.... life is to short.

Did the line test as suggested elsewhere using the BT phone number. Kept it going for a while. Slight hiss. No clicks. Seemed quiet. But then I'm not an expert!

the quiet line test sould be silent with a corded phone so any noise is a problem and needs to be reported to 151 as a phone fault not broadband
