Hi, looking at your current speeds and in comparison to your attainable max speeds, it looks like your connection is max out already. Everything looks fine 😉

Re: line stats pulled from new draytek - what you make of them?

Hi what is the estimated length of your line to the cabinet?. You are loosing 1 of the 3 downstream bands and have very low SNR Margins on the two you have got 3.8 and 4.0 dB. That can be due to attenuation due to length or aluminium cable or poor joints. Not much you can do about the first but potentially the others are fixable if you make enough fuss.

You are also showing a high level of errors which probably means it is pointless trying to squeeze more speed at the moment as the error level will make the connection a pain to use. Interestingly the HG612 might give you a marginally better connection as its firmware was written for UK lines and seems better in marginal situations than the Draytek.

For comparison my stats on a 300m line

Re: line stats pulled from new draytek - what you make of them?

i think i am about 700 yeards from my green cab,  Bt put me on a better pair at the top of my pole outside my house and fed a new line into the house straight into the back of the mastersocket.

i cant remember exactly but i think on my old mine i had 80db  and the new one is about 53db  (or the other way around i cant remember which was better)

i was predicted on the bt site  44.2 down  8mb up.   however since switching to infinity2  never noticed any difference.  get about 30-32 down and 5mb up.
