Re: line stats

Have you tried the quiet line test dial 17070 option 2 you should hear no noise if you can hear noise then it needs reporting to BT faults on 151 with no mention of broadband in the call

the drop in connection speed is due to your noise margin increasing

Re: line stats

Banded profile on the downstream. Not sure why the upstream has changed.

What are the results for your line from the wholesale DSL checkee?

Re: line stats

Yes does sound a bit fuzzy. Maybe it needs reporting. Thanks

Re: line stats

An IP reset was requested on Tuesday and a follow up phone call should have happened on Thursday. Needless to say neither have been forthcoming.

Do you mean a DLM reset? If so who made the request to whom? Have you had an engineer visit, you cannot get a DLM reset unless an engineer fixes a fault.

Re: line stats

BT online chat said they would request an IP reset which would take 24 hours....

Re: line stats

Not a chance if they meant DLM reset. IP reset is meaningless.
