I may sound a bit dim about this but bear with me. I have had a BT home hub 3 since joining BT a few years ago I am thinking of going on to superfast fibre but when I look at all the articles on the BT site it keeps mentioning a modem. It seems to assume I am using one with my current router but have never had one. I says I need one for superfast fibre. Is this so? I thought they just sent a more modern router. If I need this modem do they send one of these also?

if you are using a HH3 on it's own then you are currently on adsl and the hub 3 works ok you cannot use a hh3 on superfast fibre connection without a separate modem however BT will supply you with a new HH6 modem/router so that will connect just like your HH3
Many thanks for quick reply. That has made things alot clearer .
