no Broadband!!

According to the BT phone number there is problems on Chelmsford 01245. What on earth are they doing about it, its been dead for 2 days now. How can anyone call this anything but bad service. If you ring to report the fault all they do is want to book an engineer

It is Openreach that operate the network and also maintain it they aim to repair faults within 3 working days of them being reported this is not a BT Retail problem

Update 1: Investigations are continuing in to the cause of this outage.

We're really sorry but we've got a problem at the moment in the Chelmsford area, which means that some of our customers will be having trouble getting online. We're trying to fix the problem as quickly as we can.

no it appears to be a complex fault which is taking longer than normal to fix

they can never know if your line is not affected by the fault as general faults do not always affect all users

This is getting beyond a joke now. Chelmsford has been out since Friday. I moved to BT thinking I would get a better service than Virgin. And what will BT give me for the inconvenience, nothing probably except empty words
