hi there.
I upgraded to EE but the EE hub doesnt support DYNDNS. EE told me i can use my old BT hub which has been working well for a few months.. Today NOTHING is working that uses WIFI and devices with an ethernet cable is hit and miss with a connection.
I tried to login to the home hub using http://iP-address however i get told to use https://ip-address
but the browser does not allow me to connect to the bt home hub.
there are a few threads about this but nothing meaninful.
anyone got this issue or a work around.
I really dont want to use the EE hub i will then need to change my dns service to a ee supported version

BT have simply changed the web server on the hub to HTTPS but with a self signed certificate which your browser may object to initially but can be added as an exception.
Thanks for the information. One issue I was encountering was the Hub was not conneting to the https address. I rebooted 3-4 times and then left overnight and it magically started to work. I called EE support on this and they advised a factory reset to see if that cleans up any issues.
i would like to switch to the new EE hub however i need DYNDNS service to be a configurable item in the hub management. I dont want to use a client on any machines.
