I was on superfast fibre and just upgraded to superfast plus a few days ago
I have not seen much speed improvement.
On superfast sync speed were 55/9
on superfast plus sync speed is only 57.29/16.24
Is it worth downgrading back to normal superfast? or can I somehow get faster speeds?
I have posted my router stats and dsl checker stats
with the upgrade your package has change and you have lost G.INP if you just maintain a stable conenction for 10/14 days then DLM should activate G.INP again which will drop noise margin down to about 3db giving a boost in connection speeds
there are other similar posts if you use search facility
Just out of curiosity how did you know i have lost G.INP?
also what speeds am I likely to receive once G.INP is activated?
your noise margin is back to 6db and you are on a Huawei cab
just need to wait and see how much of additional speed you will get when noise margin drops to about 3db
lastly wanted to ask if you know, from the Zyxel range of modem/routers of bt approved modems which one is the best one to go for ?
i wanted to use my own router and reading around Zyxel supposedly offer the best modems as they run on huawei
just going o be using it on bridge mode
I was on normal superfast which gave speeds around 50mb
now i upgraded to superfast 2 which gives speeds around 67mb
I know the plus just gives extra benefits. But superfast to superfast 2 to should give speed upgrade
its like moving from old infinity to infinity 2
Does the Huawei HG612 with the latest firmware (B020Sp08) suporrt g.vector?
i know it supports g.inp
forgot to mention would anyone know from my first post if my cabinet supports g.vector?
Just check router speed gone up but snr more or less same?
can i expect for speed increase or is that more or less what I’ll get?
