not much of a speed increase from upgrading to superfast plus

I was on superfast fibre and just upgraded to superfast plus a few days ago

I have not seen much speed improvement.

On superfast sync speed were 55/9

on superfast plus sync speed is only 57.29/16.24

Is it worth downgrading back to normal superfast? or can I somehow get faster speeds?

I have posted my router stats and dsl checker stats

Re: not much of a speed increase from upgrading to superfast plus

with the upgrade your package has change and you have lost G.INP   if you just maintain a stable conenction for 10/14 days then DLM should activate G.INP again which will drop noise margin down to about 3db giving a boost in connection speeds

there are other similar posts if you use search facility

Re: not much of a speed increase from upgrading to superfast plus

your noise margin is back to 6db and you are on a Huawei cab
just need to wait and see how much of additional speed you will get when noise margin drops to about 3db

Re: not much of a speed increase from upgrading to superfast plus

Superfast plus wouldn't give you a speed increase, it is just the same speed as ordinary superfast broadband but with extra benefits not extra speed.

Best to post on kitz for Zyxel recommendations.

Re: not much of a speed increase from upgrading to superfast plus

I was on normal superfast which gave speeds around 50mb

now i upgraded to superfast 2 which gives speeds around 67mb

I know the plus just gives extra benefits. But superfast to superfast 2 to should give speed upgrade

its like moving from old infinity to infinity 2

As @imjolly  says when the 3dB margin kicks in you should see about 68M
