waiting list on cabinet

Hi guys

Anybody maybe know how to check if I am still on waiting list on my cabinet, this link what I used before does not work any more:

Anyway, how long does it take them to connect me? I am waiting for fribre ages...

I very much doubt that you will be contacted. You should keep checking to see if the cabinet is accepting orders and if it is you should just try and order it.

I am very dubious that a so called waiting list actually exists, as @gg30340  says, it's a question of checking daily and jumping in when the checker doesn't show the cabinet as full.

I can confirm from second hand experience no such waiting list exists.

Check as often as you can.

My mate checked in the morning, available, by the afternoon when he tried to order it computer says NO. Gone snapped up.

He had to wait 3 weeks before someone else moved house or had there vdsl stolen by supanet and replaced with ADSL as in my mates case.

Don't Google phone number for BT customer services.
It will often come up with the supanet number.

When the 'nice people' answer the phone and you say 'Is this BT?' they say YES!
From that point on you're doomed. VDSL to ADSL Bank account raided your VDSL flogged to someone else!

Now that's what I call real CS. /s

Oh and supanet wil pretend to be Talk Talk etc. .........BE WARNED.

Thanks for posting. Your best bet would be to check as online as often as possible. Once you're able to place the order get it submitted. Let me know how you get on.

Second, when I "Google phone number for BT customer services", the first result that's displayed is 0800 800150, the number for BT customer services.

Google. Roll the dice take your chance.

First. If you are lazy like me, Google it,not, do you know direct BT off the top of your head?

You search Google BT CS and get 0800 800 150

My mate gets 0845 ... ... Dials it.
When the 'nice people' answer the phone and you say 'Is this BT?' they say YES!

No they are supanet they lie google lies.

If you value your bank account BE WARNED if not BEST LUCK.

It depends on your Google 'search history' what results you actually get.

Try it against your mates phone you'd be surprised.

Be safe on the internet.

Please take the advice above.

I sucks constantly searching availability.

It's life not just BT. TT etc no better.

First come first served in Openreach words.

Oh you reserved a table. Which Christmas? Oh I thought you meant 2022.

Check daily and order on day.

It will never come to you, unless you're lucky, carry on checking.

Harsh but true. Your interest in FTTC filed in bin. Normal.

Hi

Thank you for your answers Guys

Im checking it time to time, but nothing is changed still on waiting list,

some of my neighbors are moving, I ll keep checking it more often now in case something is going to change.

until it gets sorted I am using  4g as well, the speed is  aprox 10x faster then the speed what  I am getting now, so that did help a lot and made my waiting easier.
