I'm unable to connect to an existing vpn connection since BT Infinity was installed a week ago.
Can anyone suggest a solution.
I've tried pinging the address of the vpn but it won't connect.
I'm running XP SP3 on an HP laptop.

Have you tired 'clamping' the VPN port?
For the HH3 goto http://192.168.1.254/index.cgi?active_page_str=page_settings_a_vpn

Check your status for Web Address Help - http://preferences.webaddresshelp.bt.com/selfcare/preferences.cgi
If it shows that you're enabled, make sure the blue dot is in disable, click save and try your VPN again....

Uninstalled Webroot Internet Security - vpn now working ok.
Already have McAfee Internet Security installed so looks like a self inflicted problem !
I'll just stick to Webroot Spysweeper from now on as a back up to McAfee.
