I cannot connect to 4g data on my Samsung S7 Edge BT chat confirm it is in my area but mode suggested by BT chat is not available to select. Wish they would give me time to respond before cutting me off.
I am not sure what 4G you are refereing, So I will cover both types of 4G settings. Nearly all mobiles are now enabled to get 2/3 and Standard 4G signal. This is of course if coverage is in your area and how strong the signal is indoors and outdoors.
BT Mobile recently introduced 4G calling which is also known as VoLTE, this is only avalible on select mobiles due to the firmware and if the local mast has been upgraded to band used for 4G Calling.
To enable 4G on the S7 Edge typically settings would be like..
From the home screen, swipe down the Status bar.
Tap the Settings icon.
Scroll to and tap Mobile networks.
Tap Network mode.
Tap to select the preferred network mode: Tap CDMA for 3G access only. ...
If prompted, tap OK to apply the new setting. The device will restart.
The 4G connection setting is now changed.
If the firmware of your S7 supports VoLTE/4G calling.. Typical setttings would be simillar to..
From your home screen, press the Phone icon.
Tap More on the top right corner.
Scroll down and tap on Settings. ...
