Re: Amazon/iTunes Voucher

Go to solution

I'm also at my wits end with this topic. I ordered my SIM Card back at the beginning of August when there was an offer for iTunes/Amazon voucher. I entered my claim on 10th August for this and haven't ever received or heard anything apart from the confirmation email after the claim form was submitted. I have tried to contact the voucher team as posted in this link a few days ago and haven't heard anything since. I also attempted to re-claim, just incase something went wrong - but the form acknowledges that I have already tried.

Very disappointing.

Re: Amazon/iTunes Voucher

@jay1169

Thank you for the info provided.

I'd be happily taking that offer with Talk Mobile and reporting a breach of contract with BT and terminate all my active contracts with them, as they still continue with the misleading practices.

I still haven't received any of the advertised vouchers and the matter has been already raised with the Trading Standards.

According to the guidlines indicated, BT is in breach of contract and I have every legal right to terminate any time I want to, without having the obligation to pay for any early termination fees.

Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 it is a criminal offence for a trader to mislead consumers into a contract.

Feel free to claim your rights.

Good luck to all.

@sprout:

The SIM ONLY deals that both me and my partner subscribed are as follows:

Mine:

Deal: £16 (discounted offer for BT subscribers) 15GB DATA / Unlimited Texts / Unlimited Minutes

Hers:

20/08/2016 (activated on 24/08/2016) - £50 Amazon Voucher -

Deal: £16 (discounted offer for BT subscribers) 15GB DATA / Unlimited Texts / Unlimited Minutes

Never received any of the 2x £50 Amazon Vouchers so far...

Re: Amazon/iTunes Voucher

Just an update as I want to be fair with everybody:

My partner just let me know that she received the Amazon gift card, delivered today via Royal Mail Signed For.

Mine is still pending...

Re: Amazon/iTunes Voucher

@PaddyB

Thank you for looking into this matter and for the information you provided.

Apologies in case I did not reply any earlier to your post:

**edited by Mod**

For your information, Michelle advised me that the vouchers would take 15-20 days to arrive (not 30 as mentioned). During our phone conversation on the 5th, I still advised her that I was not happy with the delivery time, as the voucehrs are supposed (or claimed by BT) to be sent via Royal Mail 1st class post (in my partner's case, this was also Signed For as I found out today), which means no more than 3 days delivery, or 15 days maximum delivery time in case of a service disruption, which would be the absolutely worst case scenario.

As such, I would consider my voucher as still not issued yet...

Looks like my partner was simply luckier than me.

Thank you for your help though.

Hi @sarah8881,

I tried calling thoday, sorry I missed you. I've checked this up for you and have had confirmation the voucher will be with you in the next 30 days. Can you please post back and let me know when you receive it?

Cheers

David

Re: Amazon/iTunes Voucher

Hey there, I have the same issue. Signed up for the Sim deal, £15 a month, 12 months, for a £40 Amazon voucher. This was October 20th - I claimed the voucher on the 21st. After 30 days I contacted the voucher team, and have received no reply at all. Is there... another stage I can go to for claiming this mythical voucher?
