BT Mobile Reward card



I had the misfortune of joining BT mobile on the 10/05/17 - with my service activated on the 11/05/17 - sim being delivered on the 15/05/17. I made a claim for the amazon reward voucher on the 28/05/17 after waiting the necessary time. I received an email saying i'd receive the card within 45 days.


It came to the 25/07 approx and I still hadn't received the voucher. So i contacted the relevant team and after investigation that a new card would be sent out and i'd get that within 30-45 days. Guess what? I still havent received any reward voucher!


I contacted live assistance on the 30/08 to make a formal complaint about this appalling shambles - chatted online with Varsha - who logged the complaint and said someone would get back to me within 24 hours - guess what? still no contact with anyone from bt regarding this damned amazon voucher. complaint ref **Edited**.


Contacted BT via facebook messenger this morning to try and chase things - and guess what? i get this rather cold response 08:51

There is a complaint with the gift card team on your account, they will still be looking into this Stephen Nuala -BTCare Team
I mean I could have worked this much out - talk about stating the obvious! 
I wondered if one of the moderators could investigate what has gone wrong - as I don't seem to be having much luck as a mere mortal customer. 
I was promised an £80 gift voucher when I signed up with BT mobile - part of the reason why I joined. This hasn't been fufilled. I have wasted hours contacting bt trying to chase what is legally mine - for which I'll be claiming compensation for.
I will be seeking legal action if I do not receive my gift card and compensation asap. I feel that BT are in breach of their agreement by not providing what was promised when i joined.
I do look forward to hearing from someone.

I'm sorry for the delay receiving the reward you signed up for as part of your BT Mobile order.  I appreciate that over 3 months is a long time to be waiting.
