BT Mobile signal assist

Hi

I have a poor reception in my home so wanted to buy BT mobile signal asssist sold here *Edited by Mod*

I have a tricky question here - for a particular reason, I need a separate wifi connection that will have a different IP than my home broadband wifi. From what I understand, this assist box will connect to the home broadband router and create a 3G signal. Can someone who uses this device confirm whether the IP address of the wifi created (using mobile hotspot) using the 3G signal of this device is different than the IP address of the home broadband router?

Thanks

Re: BT Mobile signal assist

The BT Signal Assist (Femto cell) box has to be connected to your router which is on your BT Internet line,
as it registers through that line.

It uses an IP address just like any other connected device on that router and produces a 3G signal around the house.

Re: BT Mobile signal assist

But if I create a hotspot using this 3G signal and my phone, would the resulting wifi also have same IP as the main broadband router?
