BT Mobile upgrade to EE

Hello! My BT Mobile contract is coming to an end and was looking to upgrade the handset, I can from reading online that I'll need to move over to a EE contract but wanted to check if that was a straight forward upgrade, will the cost of it move out of my BT direct debit into a new EE one? 

Also will they credit check? Im looking to finalise a mortgage in the next week weeks and any searches on my file probably go down well

The upgrade is straight forward, the direct debit isn't an issue but if you don't have services with EE currently, then a new credit check would be done.

For me when I moved over they just transferred everything over and I think there was a soft credit check.

It might be worth waiting until after your mortgage has gone through just to be safe!

Your BT line will continue to work on your old tariff until you move over.
