Hi I am a BT Broadband customer and considering getting a BT mobile SIM for my son. Under the My BT App, can you manage his BT mobile usage, data access etc

BT don’t offer mobile services to new customers, but you can take out an EE plan via BTs website and usually get discounts.
There’s an EE app to monitor usage, change settings etc.

If your not already a BT Mobile customer existing BT broadband customers are now being offered EE mobile contracts instead as BT & EE are the same company.
