BT Sport app

Hi

I have two sims on my account one with 18Gb and 6GB data, unfortunately I am unable to get the free BT sports app.  I can pay for it, but I can't get it for free.

This is still advertised, but not available to me.  I can't add it within my accunt without signing up for a paid service.

When I try to log in to the app I get the message account isn't activated.  I then click on activate and I get pushed to a page that doesn't load properly.  Chat just told me I should be able to just log in, so that wasn't much help.

Can anyone advise?  It's more for my dad really.

I'm sorry to hear that you can't get the BT Sport for mobile app for free at this moment in time. From what you've described, you do appear to be eligible for it.

To activate the app on your BT account:

• Log into My BT
• Click BT Sport and follow the instructions
• When you use the app and when you want to watch BT Sport at www.btsport.com

You can only use the BT Mobile Sport app on Smartphones. You can't access it via the BT Sport online player, Chromecast, Airplay, or any other devices (such as connecting to the TV through a cable).

Try it from the website rather than the app to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks the add-on wants to sign me up for £7 per month, which is the same via the pc. Not sure what to do now. Could someone in BT activate this for me?

Have been going round and round in circles.  Going to ;my BT and then BT Sports and follow the instructions' results in this page.  Couls someone please help.

@Sjwhite26 I've arranged for the BT Sport app to be added to your package, you'll get an email to let you know when the order completes.  You'll then be able to access the BT sport app and online player by logging in with your BT ID details.
