I suspect that the answer to this question will be "no", but I was wondering whether it is possible to use a SIM card which I currently use in an old PAYG mobile for a new Smartphone with a BT SIM only deal, as I am aware that BT uses the EE network.
If not, is there any chance that my existing mobile phone number can be transferred to the BT SIM?
Solved! Go to Solution.
BT would need to provide you with a new SIM card as these as not transferable between service providers, regardless of any network sharing that takes place.
Yes, you can keep your old number provided that you get a PAC code from your previous supplier. They are obliged to provide one on request.
This is the BT Mobile switching link which explains the process more fully.
