When someone tries to call my mobile they get "the mobile number is currently unavailable". I don't get a missed call notification. I can make calls and send and receive texts. This started yesterday. I have a Samsung J3. I have tried turning off and on.
The fact that you can send and receive texts suggests that your service is working and the problem lays with a setting on your phone, open the dialler app, go into settings and check that you are not forwarding all calls to voicemail
