Hi @VickiParrott Thanks for getting back to me, I'm sorry to hear your Father is unable to speak after his operation and I hope he makes a good recovery.
I think the Relay UK service would best suit his needs but unfortunately, I can't provide you with technical support to get that up and running.

@stuartrogerson I have had a reply back and it works!! Reply was:
The noise that you are hearing is a normal part of the call connection process. When you make a call please dial the number from the app, you will then be taken out of the app on onto the phones dialling screen. When you hear this noise please go back into the app and join the call.
