Delay on mobile data plan change

Hi, I've had changed my mobile data plan on the 12th July but on my order summary it says it has been a delay even though the bill was sent on the 14th. I've contacted the live chat where the person said he can only see that my order is in progress and not much more. I attempted to change the plan to see if it would take affect but i cant since the current order hasnt been complete yet.

Should i just wait and see if it changes when the next bill arrives next month?

If you upgrade, the new data is applied and backdated.
If you downgrade, the order will sit pending until your next billing cycle.

When did the order get placed ? it might of fell on a weekend and missed this billing cycle.

it was on the 12th so friday. bill came days after that. it was an upgrade though because im going from 500mb data to i believe was 6GB

hi, at the moment it says im on the 500mb plan but i have an alllowance of 1000mb because i get double data for the plan

If it was an upgrade it should of completed by now, speak with the mobile connections team at BT, they are a dedicated team that only handle BT Mobile orders, ring 0800 800 150.
Once done the allowance will be backdated, confirm with them you're ok to exceed the 500mb you have now, because they have plenty time to resolve it, that saves you worrying about exceeding your current allowance.

yes thanks, the  order had just failed and they said it will take a few days for them to redo the order.
