Family SIM - Inviting a family member

Hi,

Both my wife & I are on BT mobile, I've just ordered a new SIM for my son & put us on the Family SIM deal, how do I invite my wife to join us?

I can't see the wood for the trees on BT's website, I guess I'm missing it somewhere but have had to resort to a forum question about it.

Hi John,

I have seen that page but dont understand :

To invite someone to join your plan, just go to www.bt.com/mymobile > and click Account Summary then scroll down to Manage your SIMs and Invite a SIM to your plan. You’ll need their surname, postcode and mobile number

 

I don't see Account Summary mentioned, this is why I am lost (or thick)

Hi @Chromedome73, thanks for getting back to me. I've not got Family Sim but have had a look at my mobile account and I think you may find it by clicking on the  'settings'  option beside the cogwheel  and 'Change Plan' options on the www.bt.com/mymobile screen. 

Have a look at this and let me know how you get on.

Hi @JohnC2 , I've had a look at that & it just seems to be the settings for Monthly Spend Cap, International Numbers & Parental Controls.

There is also :

Report your phone as lost or stolen
Don’t panic - we’ll get you back up and running as soon as possible.
 
Order a replacement SIM
If you’ve got a new phone or lost your SIM, we’ll send you a new one for free.
 
Transfer your number
If you’ve got a switching code from your old provider, please use it now.
 
Unlock a phone
Find out if you can unlock your device to use with us.
 
Switch to another provider
Find out how to switch to another provider.
 
Personalise your SIM
give your SIM a name
