Family plan upgrade

I signed up to a 3 sim’s family plan with 2gb & this would give each sim 4GB as I’m a broadband & plus user. The next day I saw I could have had a 4GB giving 8gb plan for the same price. I have spoke to BT for the last 6 days who always said this won’t be a problem but I have to wait until my number has been moved over. Today, I got the message to enter my BT sim because the changeover is complete. I phoned BT again but now I’m told that that offer is no longer available so I have had to change to a 5gb plan which is only £1 more but I didn’t really want that, oh well
