International call charges

Hi all

I'm in the UK and I've just taken delivery of a new smart phone from BT with an unlimited calls and texts tariff plus 3GBs of monthly data. I know that I can use my calls package within EU countries (at least until Brexit is clarified) but how am I fixed when I take my phone to the US, Australia, and the Far East later this year? Will I still enjoy unlimited calls without additional charges or will this only apply to calls I make to UK landlines and mobiles?

The links provided by gg give details but when outside the EU you are likely to be charged for any calls made or received and answered, whether to UK numbers or not.
