Inviting another BT Mobile customer to my Family SIM

I already have 3 SIMs on my family plan and was thinking about inviting another family member. He has a BT sim only contract and would save some money by joining. He's a few months into his 12 month contract and I wondered if there would be any penalties if he moved across? He's effectively changing his contract, although staying with BT, so we're concerned they'll charge him for 'leaving'.

Hi @Sponge thanks for posting, no your family member will not have any penalties if he moves his sim across to your family sim plan.  Check out the BT Family sim FAQ's for more info

  • Total flexibility for the whole family - your plan comes with a 12 month contract but all your Family SIMs are on flexible 30 day contracts. So, as long as you have one SIM on your account, you can add and remove SIMs without paying a cancellation charge
