BT Mobile keep sending me advertisements and offers through the post. They go straight in the bin because the BT mobile signal is rubbish where I live. BT Openreach technicians always complaint about the lack of signal when they come to my house. It seems such a waste of money and not great for the environment to have all this junk mail that goes straight in the bin. Is there any way I can stop BT from sending me this stuff?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
I've sent off a request to our marketing team to have you home address removed from the mailing lists.
This can take a few weeks to fully process and remove the address but should cut out the unwanted mail in the future.
I can't seem to find the 'Contact the mods' link in your profile. I would really like to stop the junk mail too.
Don’t get your hopes up - the junk mail stopped for a while but has now started again. Maybe GDPR will put a stop to it.
I put ‘GDPR’ into the BT help search. It came up with “Sorry, we're not exactly sure what you mean. Please try a more detailed search and we'll give it another go.”.
You couldn’t make it up.
