Hi, this is a follow on to a question answered in another section of the forum. I've contacted BT recently to enquire about a Complete WiFi upgrade with Halo. During the chat it was suggested that since I use little of my mobile data I could reduce my overall price by downgrading that plan, and taking advantage of the Halo double data to more than cover my needs. Phoning back today I was told that isn't an option as I'm still in contract. I didn't bother to point out that I'm still in contract on my broadband and they'll happily change that. Surely nothing's totally fixed if you're upgrading?
if you are upgrading then there is normally no problem but you are trying to downgrade your current mobile contract and that is presumably the problem
you can try the options team who are handling renewals/upgrades and see what you can negotiate 0800800030
Ah, yes, didn't think of it that way. Odd that the original agent offered it under the same conditions.
