The contracts for our two iphones 5S expire in June or so. One is on Vodfone, the other on Tesco and once the contract is over, I expect we move to SIM only - we are on monthly contracts. Would it be worthwhile to move both to BT? Is there a downside?
Solved! Go to Solution.
First of all BT Mobile is an MVNO which means it runs on the back off EE. So depending which handset you have you may not get all the services you are used to. For example on the iPhone no visual voicemail.
The other thing you may have seen is that BT currently doesn’t have any Wi-fi calling or signal boosters. This is something they are working on with Wi-fi and 4G calling launching soon! (Its in a trial phase at the moment)
But for prices and being able to handle most of the account online it’s great. Like all mobile networks they all have their pros and cons. If you can get excellent reception then it’s a good choice.
@Dean007 Thanks - we make two 2 minute calls each month, send no more than 5 texts but do lots of email, some WhatsApp and a bit of browsing. Plus the bus app. So this would work. How much would it be?
BT offer some great deals along side their own cashback offers check out Quidco too! Check out their website to see which will offer you the data and minutes you need.
