Number porting unable to dial out

So yesterday my number from O2 should have been ported over. I am now unable to dial out or send texts. But I can revive calls on my number if I dial my o2 number. BT help havnt been much use any suggestions greatly appreciated?

Did you get any text to say the number port was complete ?

Is your handset sim free or unlocked? Did they get you to check the APN settings?

No text received. I can dial in with the number I ported over. BT chat have told me it is showing as an open order even though port should have completed yesterday

Hi @Fgreen79

if the order is still open,  they have to get a back office team to close it manually. This can take anywhere upto a 5/6 days worst case scenario I’m afraid but often sooner. 

If you are still having no luck by Friday let us know and we can ask the mods to check the status. But keep at the mobile team as they are the ones who need to resolve it.
