I just requested a PAC from customer services and after much time on hold and many issues, I got one.
The issue is that I have a 5 SIM Family SIM package, and the number I wanted to move was the main one, leaving me with 4.
Usually, issuing a PAC for the main number will cause the whole account to close once it is used.
I don't want that. I want the other 4 SIMs to stay active, and a new number to become the main one.
I was told that the account wouldn't close but my requests to confirm that in writing, or to tell me which number would become the new main number, were denied.
Could someone familiar with the process tell me if this is possible, and that I can use the PAC without worrying about leaving the rest of my family randomly without phone access?
...as an alternative, might it be safer to move my number to its own plan, thus keeping the other 4 safe, and then issuing a PAC for my number?
