I've decided to retire my old mobile phone and replace it with something newer and smarter. I don't want to switch network carrier because I have been perfectly happy with the service provided by BT Mobile, and I also want to retain my old phone number
I will be buying the new phone outright so will not need to enter a new monthly contract to pay for the phone. Currently my phone is on an open ended contract with BT which provides all the data/calls/texts that I need.
Is it simply a case of taking the Sim card from the old phone putting it into the new phone ?
There's plenty of information available about porting a phone number to a different carrier using a PAC code but nothing that provides much help for my situation.
Thanks for taking the time to read this posting.
Quick answer is Yes it's that simple.
The only complication is that the sim card might need adjusting to fit the new phone but that should be a simple process.
