New mobile. Downloaded the BT Virus Protect app to the mobile.
Open the app and there is a procedure to choose a few options.
A link to get an activation code appears.
Log in to my BT OK.
Click link - blank screen.
Down powered and repeated - same result.
Any suggestions please?

Option 1 didn't work.
Option 2 . I went straight to the Google Play store App. Basically I followed the prompts, downloaded the app, logged in to my BT when prompted, got the activation code and followed the rest of the instructions.
