I have just switched to BT Mobile from O2. On the day my number was switched the voicemail notification on my Samsung Galaxy S8 popped up at the top of the screen. I went to check my voicemails and there were none I tried adding a voicemail and removing it but still the notification shows. I have tried disabling voicemail, reregistering the Bt mobile app, restarting the phone, clearing data and cache from the phone app. I am running out of ideas, anyone suggest anything else

In case anyone else has this issue I phoned BT. The first time the advisor suggested putting the SIM into an old phone and the old SIM into the existing phone and do some restarts. This didn't work. The next time I phoned I spoke to someone else and they ran some kind of script behind the scenes which instantly fixed the problem.
