very much like the post above, i have a nokia 7 plus but on the bt app it says 4g & wifi calling not supported but it is available on that phone.  i have android version 9 which is above the 7 required

You can use this link to see a list of compatible devices

I have had a quick scan of the list and it doesn't look like the Nokia 7 Plus is compatible I'm afraid.  There is also a section below on the link that explains how you can check if a handset is compatible.

Note: In order to use WiFi Calling, please make sure your Nokia 7 Plus is updated to Android 7.0 (Nougat).

there is nothing that says you cannot use wifi calling if your phone has it just your specific phone is not supported by BT for wifi calling - or have you phone somewhere where BT actually say your phone is supported?

Ok, so my phone supports WiFi calling but BT don't recognise it does.

There is a lack of BT support for Nokia phones, even though they supply them. The offical silence on this is deliberate, I believe.
