6009 Unable to playback video err. VC019

I keep getting the above error code when trying to watch online.

 

It is not due to Silvelight as I have followed all the instructions & tips given. It is also not due to Adblocker Plus which I read has caused problems elsewhere.

 

Software: Windows 7 64bit

Browser: both Firefox & IE

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you done these 4 things?
1. Update your video drivers
2. Update your clock to correct time and 24 hour format
3. Run the Silverlight fixit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2608523
4. Delete mspr.hds http://mike-thomson.com/blog/?p=210

Done all except 4. (I don't have Netflix installed).

It's not a Netflix specific fix, it's a Silverlight fix.

I have searched the computer and am unable to find a file called mspr.hds

It's in this location on Win 7 C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\PlayReady\

PlayReady was not installed so I downloaded it, located mprs.hds and deleted the file. I then rebooted the system, opened BT Sport and got the following message:

 

"6002 Unable to playback video. err VC017"

 

Having followed the online instructions to un-synchronise and then re-synchronise the pc to the microsoft internet time server I am pleased to advise I can now view the 3 channels Smiley Happy
