6036 an error has occurred SILVERLIGHT AMD Catalyst

I keep getting this error on my laptop when trying to access the Sports channels.

I have tried

Installing the older version of silverlight , disabling updates as advised by other users

Re-installing silverlight and using the Microsoft fix tool to repair the installation

Clicking and unclicking enable/disable hardware acceleration etc

To no avail - My laptop will not load the Sports channels.

I have tried tweeting to @btcare but all they suggest are things that I have tried and which do not work.

Will BT work on a fix for this ? It's completely frustrating !!

I read elsewhere that

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc838192(v=vs.95).aspx#error_handling

"Graphics device's driver certificate is invalid."

My laptop's graphic card is using  AMD Catalyst 12.6

How can I convince the system that my certificate is valid if that is the issue ??

Re: 6036 an error has occurred SILVERLIGHT AMD Catalyst

I have just been into device manager to try and update my drivers but I am told that they are up to date by Windows 7 64 bit. SO why error 6036 .

ATI Mobility Radeon 4500/5100
