BT Account & BT Sport

Go to solution

Hi There.

I have been a BT customer previously (when I was still with Plusnet) and have been watching BT Sport with the Youview box.

When I moved my services to Sky i cancelled all my BT Sport subscription. But It appears my BT account is still active and i found out after logging-in this evening.

When I wanted to buy BT Sport's Monthly Pass (currently for £25 for 3 months) it asked me to update my details and then it asked me to pay £25 for each month instead. That in itself is a discrepancy and that confused me.

What shall i do now? Please help.

Plusnet isn't BT retail, they have their own accounts and customer services, they did offer BT Sport on the Youview platform but you paid Plusnet, not BT.
Has your Plusnet account closed down ?

If you were a Plusnet customer, you wouldn't have an active BT account, possibly a BT ID though.

The monthly sports pass is £25 per month, unless you saw an offer on a 3rd party site, in which case follow that referral link.

Check your bank statements, if you have a BT account the direct debit will show, the reference after the direct debit is a BT account number, if you think you have a BT account ring 0800 800 150, speak with the billing team and give them the reference from the direct debit payment on your bank statement.
