However there seems to have been an unfortunate consequence - I received a letter a few days ago encouraging me to look at offers for renewing for a “brilliant deal” for my broadband as the 18 month contract was due to run out in December. I was thinking of upgrading to the “Plus” package. Earlier today this was showing as being available for around £3 or £4 a month more than I am currently paying or I could renew my current package at the same price I am paying now.
Logging in now I am being offered the same package I have now for £19 more than I currently pay or £24 more for the plus package. The system seems to have reset all the prices to a much higher level.
Would be grateful if you could find out what has happened.
