BT Sport App on Android Tablet - Activation after device reset

Evening

I had to factory reset my Samsung Android tablet tonight and reinstalled BT Sport App. We are BT fibre broadband customers and have this package.

Having reinstalled the app and successfully logged, in it's asking me to activate BT Sport again and asking for a PIN number, that was supplied in 2018.

I would have thought, having logged in, that the system should recognise the fact that we already activated this service? 

We don't have a record of the 2018 PIN and I don't particularly want to wait a week for another one, given I was using the app yesterday. I also don't want a second activation, in case this causes more problems.

Anyway to quickly sort this?

Hi @aliballibee the pin is asked when you login with a BT ID that doesn't have account holder status claimed, account holder status can only be claimed against one ID. Do you have more that one BT ID?

I was pretty sure the main account was the BT Sport login but I'll try one of the others tonight.

Hi - it's resolved now. 

I changed the email to match that of my mobile account.
