Have been using the app on the phone without a problem via my very good wifi connection
Lately I cannot get any live video just the VC011 error
I can get the video on my computer with no problems
BT support has been poor
How do I check that the app on my phone is using my home wi-fi and NOT looking for a 3G or 4G connection?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can check the settings in the BT Sport App, it will show if you've enabled mobile streaming. When you notice the issue, can you check your internet connection by trying to watch a video on YouTube?
If that works okay, log out of the BT Sport App, restart it, then log back in again.
Let me know how you get on?
Does the connection work when you disable the WiFi on your mobile? That will tell you if it's using your mobile data connection. Another way to check is to go to the Settings menu in the app. Make sure that 'Enable Mobile Streaming' is set to 'off'.
Have you cleared the apps data and cache or uninstalled it and downloaded a new copy to rule that out as the cause?
Tried all that and error remains the same
Deleted and redownloaded app - still the same
How do i clear cache etc??
What IOS version is your Phone Running? And can you also confirm what version of the BT App you are using?
You can find out the version of the BT App by going into settings and then "About" and it should confirm the version number.
Thanks for posting back and confirming both versions.
Can you try the advice on this page?
Failing that we may have to get your details for this to be investigated as you've tried quite a few things now that haven't got you sorted out.
Post back and let me know how you get on with this.
