BT Sport Monthly Pass issue

As I can see from some older posts, there appears to be an issue when you've purchased the Monthly Pass using the same account as you have for BT Sport Mobile via EE.

I can access the account details/number for both the Monthly Pass and the EE version in MyBT, but when I try to watch via a TV/Console App, or the Website, when I try to login I'm told I need to upgrade my account.

Not very impressed given that I've been charged for a service I can't actually use at this time.

Sorry that you are having problems watching BT Sport on large screens.

Do you still currently get BT Sport free with your EE mobile package?

If you still get BT Sport free with your EE mobile it's cheaper to upgrade this subscription for £5 per month than take out the BT Monthly pass.

That is a good point, I didn't realise EE offered that as an option.

If I remember correctly you text "Sport" to 150 and EE will add it to your account.

Might be best to call BT on 0800 800 150 and let me know that the monthly pass is not working and you would like it cancelled and refunded.
