BT Sport Ultimate on BT TV vs Apple 4K TV

Unfortunately we had a major outage this evening at our primary site @arsalan1 which meant we had to failover to our backup - this meant we unfortunately lost Ultimate too.

Yeah true when are we getting Atmos on Apple TV 4K too! Some of us have Atmos setups!

It looks like they can’t do multi channel 5.1 let alone Atmos.  Only PCM2.0 sound is available despite advertising to the contrary.

@DarrenDev Hi Darren, I have a 2021 Apple TV and a BT Sport Ultimate subscription. 4K and Dolby Atmos play but not HDR - do you know the specific Apple TV HDR settings which are compatible with BT Sport Ultimate HDR? ie HDR at 50hz

I have tinkered around and have never been able to enable HDR

Settings are same for all content.

Settings  Video and Audio  

Format 4K SDR

HDMI Output YCbCr

Match content Range and frame and it should be absolutely fine providing you get HDR everywhere else like tv+ or Netflix.
