BT Sport no longer free from August?

Is this correct? Will a £5 a month charge be added for Infinity customers? If so, do existing customers need to opt out or will they be opted out unless they opt in?

Re: BT Sport no longer free from August?

You will automatically be opted in unless you opt out.

You have three choices (but BT have probably only told you about two of them)

  1. Pay the £5 per month
  2. Downgrade to sport lite, which is free but requires a new contract
  3. Cancel BT sport completely, which has to be done by phoning BT

Re: BT Sport no longer free from August?

You are currently subscribed to the BT Sport pack and get it at the discounted price of £0. This discounted price will change to £5 from Aug.

If you wish to change package to the new £0 BT Sport Lite, or cancel BT Sport completely, then you have to take action to achieve this.

The opted-in or out terminology that BT have used at times just confuses things really.

And if you update your broadband you no longer get free evening calls, you have to pay £3 extra, it all such gobbledygook just to concise U.S. and make as much as they can
