Re: BT TV

Go to solution

Thanks again, yes I have and do use cc cleaner, have also tried AdvanceDevice managementd System Repair Pro, all this does is my computer shows up again in bt tv  settings/ device management /'When you watch anything on your device for the first time it'll automatically be registered. You can register up to 4 devices. Once you've reached your limit, you'll have to wait 30 days before you can register a new device. For more info on device management, please head to bt.com/help/devices'

I then have to call BT to remove duplicates

I'm convinced I must be doing something wrong

Re: BT TV

I don't think you're doing anything wrong as the procedure I detailed yesterday should have worked.

It seems to me that the problem lies with the BT TV Player not receiving  the silverlight data, but why.

One other possibility could be your AV program

Re: BT TV

That tick box only appears if you haven't ticked it before. Try dropping your firewall for a few minutes

Re: BT TV

This is interesting, I will keep pursuing this linking issue I think I might of put the wrong address in, got to find out how to get rid of it on Firefox reset , and why it doesn’t link in other browsers !, you’re definitely onto something. I’ve got to pop out so will look at it later
