Hi, I have a amazon firestick with the BTTV App on it in one of my rooms, always worked fine, suddenly today I noticed a error message coming up with the code ZS001 (which I have never seen before) and a message that there is a "security error"? Anyone have any ideas, I have unplugged the stick, uninstalled then reinstalled the app, no difference.

Thanks, yeah, removed and reinstalled a few times, same message comes up, we do have a firestick in another room, the BTTV App is working fine there, the problem is just on one of my firesticks, all the other apps on the stick, iplayer, Netflix, etc are also all working, its just the BT app that has suddenly from out of nowhere got this problem, weird!
I have just started getting exactly the same problem ( ZS001). I had also tried unplugging firestick, and also uninstalling/reinstalling BT TV app but it made no difference either. Sorry I cannot help, but thought I'd let you know you are not alone!!
It could be an issue with a particular model. Britbox gives errors on the Generation 1 Firebox.
May be worth reporting the versions you are having errors on - Which Fire TV Device Do I Have?
Well I just have the basic edition firestick, which I have had no problem with until today, as I said in my first post, we have the same edition firestick in another room and the BTTV app on there is working great, this problem has emerged just on one of them, but all the other apps installed on it are all working fine.
The first and second generation look the same but only Gen1 doesn't work on Britbox - Britbox confirm this.
It still could be an app update has knocked-out one generation - or the working box has not yet updated.
I think a Gen2 has a MicroSD card and the Gen1 does not - but will be other internal differences.
I've had the same problem. After a factory reset of the firestick the app will work but after any period of hibernation the app stops working with the same ZS001 error code. I've been corresponding with BT and it appears the security issue is linked to the most recent firestick update. They have told me they are working on the problem and hope to have some idea by next week.
