BTsport casting

My laptop is to old and slow so BT sport keeps stuttering and then stops altogether . What would be the most reliable way of streaming BT sport to my TV , or could I receive it direct on a smart TV pref. an LG . Please keep it simple as I am a total technophobe . Only want to watch moto GP and Rugby .

Re: BTsport casting

Google Chromecast will work, plugs directly into the TV and supports BT Sports, they can be bought for around £20-£30, maybe cheaper after christmas.

Re: BTsport casting

Assuming you have a phone, tablet or laptop that can run the BT Sport app used to do the casting. What OS is currently being used on the old laptop?

Re: BTsport casting

If your OS is Vista then the Chromecast solution suggested is not an option for you as without a phone or tablet either then you have not way to set it up or control it (unless someone knows different?).
