Can't watch latest WWE stream on BT Sport website

Trying to watch the latest episode of Friday Night Smackdown on the BT Sport website can anyone please

tell me if this stream is working for them?

All i get is "Sorry, this stream isn’t available. Please try again."

So far tried Edge, Chrome and Firefox all with the same result on Windows 11, it works on my Android phone though.

Had a webchat with BT who say everything is working as it should be.

Also this stream plays but has no full screen button or player controls

Can anyone also confirm this please?

All the other WWE streams work fine.

Thanks for replying glad you confirmed its not just me having this issue can now go back to BT if they don't manage to fix the streams

I found a way around it for now. If you make your browser window real small and refresh the page the player does not load the enhanced version and works.

Still having to use the workaround to watch WWE streams the latest stream for Smackdown has no player controls, could a moderator please pass this issue on to the relevant people? The enhanced player has some sort of bug.

I can see the issue - I've asked our ops guys to investigate.

That's it now sorted.

An issue was found last week that was causing some events to go back to a "SCHEDULED" state shortly after they had completed - this prevents them from being watched in the enhanced player.

Whilst the issue was fixed to prevent future events failing, it appears this one event was missed in the clean-up afterwards.

Sorry for the inconvenience - I'm told it shouldn't happen again.

p.s. I'm impressed at the workaround that was found - shrinking the window down tricks the site into believing you're watching on a mobile, which doesn't support the enhanced player. Thus it plays in the standard player, which wasn't affected by this bug.

They all play now but they have no controls available, can't make them full screen or play/pause etc.  They also all have a slight jump at the start wonder if that had something to do with it.

Will try the catch up stream for Raw tomorrow hopefully will be fixed with the new stream.

I've just had it confirmed that the trigger that prevented the streams being marked as available is also the cause of the controls not being visible.

It's being investigated - I'll provide an update as soon as I have one.  The bug was raised on the 15th, so I'm hoping we'll get an answer very soon.
