Honestly shocked at how difficult they make it to cancel BT Sport!!
Finally found out how to do this and there's a number to call.
I then saw the note at the top of the website saying to only call them if its essential, given the current circumstances, which is perfectly understandable... however how else am i meant to cancel the damn thing???
Anyone able to help me 😞
(and yes I know they are offering 1 months bill credit)
thanks!
If you want to cancel BT TV in full then you have to ring them, if you're just after changing your TV package then you can do that online.

Hi Meldrew, thanks for responding to my question
I don't have BT TV, only BT Sport so I'm not sure if this'd work for me?
I followed your advice anyway and I get the following outcome: "You already have the BT Sport HD Pack, so you can watch all three channels in HD. You can find the channels in the sport section of your TV guide."
Additionally, as I pay via direct debit, do you know how much notice I need to give for cancellation, to avoid paying another unnecessary month?
Thanks
I don't but I'm pretty sure there's a penalty charge if you cancel whilst in contract.
No worries.
Do you think the best bet would be to call them then?
(i want to cancel as i didn't realise i was paying such a ridiculous amount each month for a few sports channels)
Probably, 0800 800 150 is a 24 hr number.
I would ring them late in the evening, call volumes might be a bit lower then

Would it not be more logical, specially if you are in a contract, to take the free months as they appear, and cancel later down the line.
